For my shot count, I chose this video by A Day To Remember who are a pop-punk/hardcore band which fits into my chosen genre of pop-punk/rock.

Close ups were mainly used to show the main protagonist/antagonist of the video. The wide angles were used more for changes of scene in the video, as well as showing the whole band together. A lot of cuts were used in this video to suit the fast paced nature of the song.

This video challenges the typical conventions of a rock video by focusing more on the story in the video and showing no shots of the band playing their instruments.
